Acetic acid, systematically named ethanoic acid, is a colourless liquid organic compound with the chemical formula CH3COOH (also written as CH3CO2H, C2H4O2, or HC2H3O2). When undiluted, it is sometimes called glacial acetic acid. Acetic Acid Glacial Solution 99.5% DG is a clear, colorless liquid with a pungent odor. It is commonly used in the production of vinyl acetate monomer, cellulose acetate, and other chemicals. It is also used as a solvent in the production of pharmaceuticals, dyes, and perfumes.
