Sulfur (in British English, sulphur) is a chemical element with the symbol S and atomic number 16. It is abundant, multivalent and nonmetallic. Sulfur sublimed powder is a fine, yellow powder that is commonly used in a variety of applications. It is primarily used in the production of sulfuric acid, as well as in the manufacturing of rubber, fertilizers, and other chemicals. Additionally, it is used in the production of gunpowder, matches, and fireworks. Sulfur sublimed powder is also used in the treatment of certain skin conditions, such as acne and dandruff. Its antifungal and antibacterial properties make it an effective ingredient in many topical treatments.
